For this test you need to take one sample (15 apples) from each orchard, about one week before expected harvest time. The sample is easy to prepare.
Based on your samples we assess the ripening stage for each orchard and provide an advice for the optimum harvesting sequence. Our analysis is available within 2 business days after we have received your samples.
This test provides a more accurate estimate of maturity than sugar content or firmness, because it directly measures the activity of genes that control the ripening process.
This test is suitable for most commercial apple varieties.
